Application Engineer

SPEL is looking for an experienced Applications Engineer (Auto-Industry) with an in-depth understanding of Supercapacitors, and it's applications to convert it into economically viable solutions for transportation industry (Electric Mobility). As part of Team SPEL, you are expected to identify new opportunities for Supercapacitor applications with in-depth calculations capability. Preparation of detail reports for Supercapacitor in providing energy, cost savings, economical and environmental benefits.

Additional Expectations

  • Atleast 5 years of experience in relevant field.
  • Fluency in English required.
  • Effective communications and sales skills.
  • Ability to deal with engineers, field personals.
  • Understanding of automotive technology.

Research Fellow/Scientist
(Nano-technology)

Should be atleast first class marks in MSc Chemistry/Material Science, from reputed Institution. Phd in Materials for Energy storage.

Requirements

  • Age less than 28 years.
  • Primary Schooling preferable in English Medium
  • Atleast 5 publications in reputed International journal
  • Practical Exposure in handling Glove Box
  • Clearity on Basics of Physics
  • Excellent writing skills

Mechanical/Automobile
Engineer

As a Mechanical Engineer you will be responsible for the development and improvement of Cells & modules packaging design, as well as you will be supporting the design and commissioning of manufacturing equipment.

Other Job task

  • Development/Validation Plans for Supercapacitor Cells/Modules .
  • Solve cell-production issues, develop cell prototypes.
  • Support at early stage for New Product range design .
  • Failure analysis and corrective action plan formulation
  • Communication to the cross functional teams.
  • Production machines preventative maintenance responsibility .

Sales Manager

SPEL is looking for an experienced Sales Manager to to drive the growth of Supercapacitor-based energy storage solutions in automotive, Renewable, Power-grid, & industry - segments.
As Sales Manager,it is must that you should be capable to create value to customers with robust, reliable, and most advanced fast energy storage modules and systems on the market. you'll develop a pipeline of opportunities by dealing directly with companies looking to improve their operations or products with enhanced energy storage, and close multimillion INR deals with some of the biggest companies in the Automotive, Electronics, Utility Providers, Railways, Process Industries, etc.

Key Expectations

  • Aggressive attitude, Personal Networking capability.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Supercapacitor applications.
  • Understanding of available key technologies in energy storage.
  • 5-10 years of experience and tender quoting expertise.
  • Effective business development skill & ability to deal with engineers.
  • Fluency in English & Hindi language is required.

Analyst

SPEL, India's first manufacturer of Supercapacitors, is looking for an experienced Analyst to support our Module Development team with data processing and mathematical model creation skills.

Requirement: Good self-management and willingness to take challenges. Analytical and problem solving skills. Excellent communication skills in English. Previous experience in creating models with MATLAB/Simulink or similar. Advanced Excel skills to use the functions and formulas needed to analyze data. Knowledge of energy storage solutions and basic software skills. Higher education in Mathematics, Physics, Electronics or similar.

Job task

  • Compose Supercapacitor module and system mathematical models.
  • Compose Supercapacitor energy storage lifetime prediction models.
  • Give input for software developers of Supercapacitor management algorithms.
  • Create documentation for SPEL products and solutions.
  • Compose “black box” models for external partners.
  • Production machines preventative maintenance responsibility .
  • Create documentation for SPEL products and solutions.
  • Validate created models with self-designed tests if needed together with external organizations.
  • Participate closely in product design and support sales in custom projects and feasibility studies.
  • Resolve any technical difficulties that may occur during development.
  • Keep yourself and other team members up to date with relevant know-how about ultracapacitor models.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the control logic of ultracapacitors to extend the lifetime of the product.
